Raise percentage
The percent increase applied to current pay: new = current × (1 + raise% ÷ 100). Identical math whether pay is an annual salary or an hourly wage — only the unit and display precision differ. Working backwards from two pay figures: raise% = (new − old) ÷ old × 100.
