Who we are

GetMoneyCalc (getmoneycalc.com) provides free financial calculators for educational purposes. This policy explains what data we collect when you use the site, how we use it, and your rights.

What data we collect

We do not collect personal information directly. There is no account creation, no registration, and no form that stores your name, email, or financial figures on our servers. All calculator inputs live only in your browser.

However, like almost every website, we use third-party services that collect usage data automatically:

• Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — collects anonymised behavioural data: pages visited, session duration, general geographic region (country / city, not street-level), browser type, and device category. IP addresses are anonymised before storage. We use this data solely to understand which calculators are useful and where we can improve.
• Google AdSense — if display advertising is active, Google may set advertising cookies to serve personalised ads based on your browsing history across the web. This is controlled entirely by Google's systems.
• Web3Forms — if you submit the contact form, your name, email, and message are forwarded to our inbox via Web3Forms. We retain that correspondence only as long as needed to respond.

Cookies

We use the following categories of cookies:

• Analytics cookies (GA4) — first-party cookies set by Google Analytics to distinguish users and sessions. These are not used for advertising.
• Advertising cookies (AdSense) — third-party cookies set by Google to measure ad performance and, where consent applies, personalise ad content. These cookies may track your activity across other websites.

Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies via their settings. Blocking advertising cookies will not affect your ability to use our calculators.

How we use data

• To understand which calculators are most used and improve them.
• To identify technical issues (error rates, slow load times).
• To measure the effectiveness of any advertising we run.
• To respond to contact-form enquiries.

We do not sell data to third parties. We do not build user profiles. We do not send marketing emails.

Your rights and opt-out options

Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, or delete data held about you. Because we hold no directly identifying personal data ourselves, most requests relate to data held by Google.

• Opt out of Google Analytics — install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
• Opt out of personalised ads — visit Google Ad Settings or aboutads.info.
• Browser-level controls — use your browser's privacy settings to block third-party cookies entirely.

Children's privacy

GetMoneyCalc is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information via our contact form, please email us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services change or legal requirements evolve. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
